Each week we will be publishing a new video covering a different aspect of your Grade 1 piano skills as part of our Grade 1 Challenge. This week Aldeburgh Music's Tracy Virr shows you how to put your ‘thumb under’ when playing a scale. It’s something many of you asked in response to our first videos – we hope this helps! Watch the film to pick up some tips and try the exercise for yourself. It’s a great way to build strength and control.
