A segment from the long running Australian music TV series Countdown, which aired on the ABC from 1974-1987.

This particular segment aired during the Countdown episode which originally aired on January 17, 1982, on the ABC.

This clip features an interview of Olivia Newton-John, conducted by Countdown Talent Co-Ordinator, Molly Meldrum.

Molly begins the interview by mentioning that her song 'Physical' (which is the song playing in the background throughout the start of the interview), which was written by Steve Kipner and Terry Shaddick, had gone to Number 1 in Australia, and throughout much of the world. Molly asks Olivia about her many image changes, particularly the current image of Olivia in her fitness phase, which was used for the filming of the 'Physical' film clip. Following on from that, Molly asks Olivia about her change of hair style, which she mentions that she had cut short the day before her rehearsals. Molly then begins to ask Olivia about the process behind the 'Physical' film clip, which was directed by British director Brian Grant, and some of the controversy about it.

Molly then proceeds to ask Olivia about her then boyfriend (and later husband), Matt Lattanzi, whom she met during the filming of the movie 'Xanadu', and featured in some of her film clips.

Molly also asks Olivia about the Hollywood party life, and if she feels burned out by it. Molly also asks Olivia if she plans to return to the stage, with her last concert (at that point) having been about 3 years earlier.

The segment ends with Olivia leading into the video for her new song 'Make A Move On Me' (clip not featured).
