Des Moines, the capital of Iowa, is a city with a lot to offer visitors. From its vibrant downtown to its beautiful parks and gardens, there is something for everyone in Des Moines.

The city's downtown area is home to the State Capitol, a stunning example of Neoclassical architecture. Several other historical landmarks surround the capitol building, including the Des Moines Art Center and the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden.
