Hello everyone and welcome to Yoga with Yana!

If you are experience neck and shoulder pain, tension or stiffness - this class is for you! Join me for a quick 10 minute gentle seated yoga practice to help relieve tension from the neck and shoulders. Most of us tend to carry tension in the neck and shoulder area, since we spend so much time throughout the day either sitting in front of a computer, working physically, sleeping in improper positions, driving etc. It is important to dedicate even a simple 10 minutes at a time on a regular basis, to stretch the neck and shoulder muscles and relieve the tension and pain. This class is suitable for all levels, and is a gentle seated class that will guide you through a few simple exercises that can help you feel more relaxed and tension free. I encourage you to practice these exercises daily to achieve best results, even if you do them throughout the day at work. Please remember to listen to your body, and only go as far as you are able to in each practice, and most importantly don't forget to breathe with each exercise!
