The Iranian foreign ministry condemned the “brutal and vicious” Israeli airstrike on Beirut that killed Hezbollah commander Aqil. A top Houthi official warned the US and its ally Israel that the “coming days are full of surprises”. “We reached them and we will reach anyone who threatens the security of the citizens of the State of Israel,” the Israeli military pledged.
