Lyrics:
You wanna hit like this? You’re gonna hurt like this
You wanna live like this? You’re gonna die like this

Live by the sword and you die by the sword (oh oh)
‘Cause I’ll get what’s mine baby you’ll get what’s yours (oh oh oh)
Live by the sword and you die by the sword (oh oh)
‘Cause I’ll get what’s mine baby you’ll get what’s yours

You’ll get what’s yours if you live by the sword
You’ll get your reward if you live by the sword
You’ll get what’s yours if you live by the sword
You’ll get your reward if you live by the sword

It’s cold like the ocean cold like the rain
Show your devotion, show me the pain
Show me the blood, show me you tried, show me the tears coming down from your eyes

Live by the sword and you die by the sword
‘Cause I’ll get what’s mine baby you’ll get what’s yours

You’ll get what’s yours if you live by the sword
You’ll get your reward if you live by the sword
You’ll get what’s yours if you live by the sword
You’ll get your reward if you live by the sword

You wanna live like this? You’re gonna die like this
You wanna kiss like this? You’re gonna cry like this
You wanna hit like this? You’re gonna hurt like this
You wanna live like this? You’re gonna die like this

You’ll get what’s yours if you live by the sword
You’ll get your reward if you live by the sword
You’ll get what’s yours if you live by the sword
You’ll get your reward if you live by the sword

Bio:
Rising pop star Dorian Electra (pronouns: they/them/theirs) makes music that defies gender norms. In the past year, with the release of their debut album, their work has gained a queer cult following and a rapidly growing global fanbase, as well as critical praise from Pitchfork, Billboard, Paper Magazine, The Fader, Gay Times, The Guardian, and more. Each one of Electra’s high-concept singles ("Career Boy,” "Man To Man,” “Flamboyant,” “Daddy Like,” and most recently, “Adam & Steve”) has been accompanied by a hyper-stylized music video. Videos like “Flamboyant” have garnered more than one million views, and help build a bigger world around each song than the music alone.
Electra has collaborated and toured with pop visionary Charli XCX and Russian group PussyRiot as well as played major pride festivals across the US. In 2019, Dorian Electra released their debut full-length album “Flamboyant”, produced by Dylan Brady of 100 Gecs, Umru (PC Music), Robokid, and more with tracks co-written by Bonnie McKee and Jessie Saint John. The album is an unapologetically over-the top work of experimental genre-bending pop with a heavy-metal, baroque twist, supported by their first-ever sold out headlining tour.
