So here's my attempt at essentially giving certain companies the finger in terms of copyright. You want to claim FFX music. Fine. I'm changing it. I hate to do so when the music is good but I'm being left with little choice.

Story
More of a continuation of the 012 story. Tidus and Jecht have ironically switched sides in the 13th war. Tidus much like FFX wants to beat his father. And the story plays out more or less as FFX. Meanwhile Jecht has a few problems when it comes to fighting his son that need a bit working out.

Tidus Gameplay
Tidus operates rather differently from other characters. Many of his moves involve dodging in specific ways then attacking. A well timed use of his attacks can be pretty devastating as opposed to a normal dodge or block. His downside is that all of his attacks leave him open if whiffed or if you used the wrong attack.
