Join us in the heart of our Kurdish village as we turn freshly harvested tomatoes into homemade organic tomato paste!

From picking slightly orange tomatoes to storing them in the cellar to ripen, washing, chopping, and cooking in a large pot, we follow every step of this traditional process. We even use a copper tray and old customs to bless the harvest with my 3-year-old son, Aliram.

After hours of stirring, skimming, and pressing the cooked tomatoes through a fine sieve, the result is rich, thick, and naturally flavorful tomato paste. We even made a delicious omelette with it — the taste is unforgettable!

This is real village life, authentic, organic, and full of love and tradition.
