WINTER STORM WARNINGS: Rain begins today, winter storm warnings in effect

Temperatures are looking to dip after today as precipitation begins to move through western Montana, bringing scattered showers. Tomorrow, these showers are set to become more widespread as a broad trough moves through the area.

While most locations are set to see rain, snow is possible. Snow levels are going to lower on Saturday to around 5500 feet. This is likely to bring a few inches, with a small chance of 2-4 inches of accumulation in the southern Bitterroot Range. There is also a possibility that areas south of I-90 will see around .25 inches of rain during this period.
