Bleed is the 13th track on Cold's second studio album, “13 Ways To Bleed Onstage”, and features Aaron Lewis from Staind. It talks about musicians who want to let their feelings out, “bleed”, in their music.

During the verse, “Just like the tree that fell, I heard it,” based on the philosophical question, “If a tree falls in the forest, and there's no one there to hear it fall, does it make a sound?”

Scooter (lead singer) is saying that even if you fall; that is, go through a trauma, fail at something, experience a loss, are in pain; and you feel alone, that no one is there to comfort you or help you in your pain; that he is there for you in spirit, in music, to comfort you in your difficulties. He “hears you” when no one else will.
