Using DSC NEO PGM's To Operate Relays For Old School Hardwired Automation

Описание к видео Using DSC NEO PGM's To Operate Relays For Old School Hardwired Automation

Alarm systems are more capable than most people give them credit for. Systems like the DSC NEO offer outputs that can be controlled by triggering events on the system. Those events could be anything from a single zone opening to the current armed status of the system. Using these PGMs in conjunction with relays is a simple but effective way to create what is essentially automation. Relays come in all shapes and sizes with an abundance of specs to choose from, so if you are looking to take on a project like this, be sure to do your research on what works best for you. For the DSC NEO system, we like to use the Altronix RBSN-TTL relay. It is an ultra-sensitive relay which allows it to operate on low current outputs like most PGMs on a NEO. If this video gave you some ideas on how to improve your own alarm system you can check out the Altronix relay on our website here: https://www.alarmsystemstore.com/prod...

Please be aware that our techs are not fully trained on relay operation, and may not be able to help you accomplish specific goals. This video is meant to be informative and idea inspiring, but we will do what we can to help point you in the correct direction for our customers if you need assistance.
