Mopar M1 Intake | Initial Quirks With Setup | Dodge Dakota R/T

In this video we discuss the Mopar M1 Intake and the initial quicks with the setup on a Dodge Dakota R/T with a 5.9L V8 Magnum engine. We show some of the issues you may run into such as TPS calibration and resetting the PCM. We also discuss the throttle body hanging or sticking and how a secondary throttle return spring may be necessary to fix the issue. We show the performance of the intake from inside the truck as well and how the transmission is shifting. Adjusting the throttle valve or TV cable also commonly called the kick down cable is also required after doing an install like this so that the transmission is in sync with the operation of the throttle and can upshift and downshift accordingly.
