I deliberately chose this play because Pericles is the least-performed of all Shakespeare's plays, meaning that it is highly unlikely that you have ever seen it.

(Note, the character "Pericles" in this story has nothing to do with the historical Athenian statesman who built the Acropolis. Reportedly, Shakespeare chose this name for branding purposes, to ensure audience recognition that the play was set in ancient Greece.)

Clearly, we are not yet at the point where AI movies will replace the legacy studios, but then none of them have ever made a movie based on this obscure Shakespeare play. In two years, a full-length feature film may be quite realistic.
