Later texts speak only in fragments: a crown cast aside, a new name whispered in fear, and a warning written by trembling hands — never unseal what was buried.

The Grey Wizard pieces together enough to understand one thing:

The amulet is not dormant.
It is bound to a history Tharalon tried to erase.

Before dawn, he leaves the city by the lakeside road.
His path leads to Ashport, where sailors, traders, and quiet taverns remember what libraries choose to forget.

At a harbor inn — The Dragon’s Rest — a halfling waits by the hearth.
The wizard arrives with questions, a plan, and a relic wrapped in cloth.

The fire burns low.
And the Black Crown is spoken aloud again.
