The Chinese Communist Party’s most important annual meetings, known simply as the "two sessions," were held in Beijing on March 4 and 5 this year.
When the meetings opened, the audience was surprised to find that Xi Jinping and other CCP leaders sitting in the front two rows in the middle of the podium weren't wearing masks, while the rest had to wear masks.
Why did the large majority of the delegates have to wear masks?
