Happy Birthday to Neil Peart who was born on this date in 1952 and who I happen to share a birthday with…same day, different year.

“Limelight” by Rush off of their Moving Pictures album which came out in 1981 and featured Geddy Lee on bass.

This was something I threw together quickly when I got the bass back from having work done on it and hadn’t planned on posting it, but it’s the only Rush song I had sitting around.

I’m playing the Fire-Glo Rickenbacker 4000 (converted from a 4003S) which sports a Zero-Mod Thumb-rest (of course), a gold pick-guard from PickGuardian, and an old, Dimarzio made, pick-up that was salvaged from an irreparably damaged Guild B-301 bass.
