Zakuzaku Actors is an excellent freeware RPG that I played once a while back and wanted to revisit this year, so I proposed a draft to a few acquaintances: pick 12 of the 36 characters each with free use of the protagonists, deuteragonists, and super late joiners, and that's your team for the whole game.
(Free units are Delichi and Rosemary, as well as Hell and Mia Rerju after Part 2 when they become the protagonists. My drafted characters are Gina, Yae, Yukino, Fuku, Zenyatta, Julia, Dorintl, Kuweuri, Priscilla, Rufure, Mao and Reptos.)
Its actual mechanics are intuitive, so I'll generally let them speak for themselves.

Foolish poor!
Watermelon King has around 300,000 GP to spend on healing, extra actions and stats. I don't want to pay a single bit of that to win, so instead I just let him burn it all and then buy up the effects for cheap later in the fight.
This guy's design is also amazing. I don't have anything to say about the attacks he uses besides Casino Space-Time. Even his silly KING hat is more interesting than them.
