I recently swapped my 4 inch straight can muffler from Bassani with their mid length megaphone muffler since I’ll be installing chopped saddlebags soon. Knowing that the shorter muffler will result in a louder exhaust note, I wanted to replace the existing baffle with Bassani’s quiet baffle.

Here is how I removed the existing baffle using a tie rod puller and a primary locking bar. Hope this helps others who want to do the same or who want to remove the packing from the baffle for an even louder exhaust.
