This short film is a trailer for the "Boating on the Norfolk Broads in the 1930s" DVD which is produced by the Broadland Memories Archive. The DVD features around 40 minutes of amateur 16mm cine footage of one family's holidays on the Norfolk Broads in 1932 and 1933 when they hired the motor cruisers "Spark of Light" and "Countess of Light" from Herbert Woods boatyard at Potter Heigham. Over the course of the two holidays, the family captured some fascinating footage of a bygone era, covering both the Northern & Southern rivers of the Norfolk Broads. Although many of the scenes are still recognisable today, the film features several long gone bridges and other lost landmarks.
