I've heard much of the photo phenomenon that is purikura, and its ability to make you charm sparkle like a flower. I would definitely consider it one of Japan's awesome niche cultural pastimes. Super popular amongst Japanese high-school girls the ritual is usually limited to them, using these photo-booths but because I had a female with me I am allowed to use them. Prepare to feast your eyes on something that looks one part zoolander one part space-elf.
