Discover Timeplus Proton 3.0: Connecting Operational and Telemetry Systems

Recently, our team proudly released Timeplus Proton 3.0 (OSS). This is the most significant performance release of our open-source, single-binary data processing pipeline engine thus far, for analytics, o11y, and security. Written in pure C++, no JVM, no ZooKeeper, and no dependencies.

To show you Proton in action, Gang will share two demos:
1. A demo for how Timeplus handles real-world Cisco ASA firewall logs, a real-world challenge and solution for one of our customers. In this customer pipeline example, discover Timeplus’ real-time alerts, volume deduction, routing, and more.
2. A quick demo for tasks using a Hacker News example.

Gang also shares our engineering stories, discussing the challenges our customers face with their pipelines and the solutions we built to help them.

Next, Ken Chen (Chief Architect) dives into the upgrades in Proton 3.0, and the many performance enhancements in this release: 7x improvement in changelog streaming, 4.8x faster aggregations, and 1.8x improvement in raw ingestion.
