Two hikes that meet ADA Compliance within a few miles of Morro Bay, in Central California. The Marina Peninsula Trail is just outside the city at the marina and is a perfect spot for bird spotting – we had lunch at The Bayside Café which was scrumptious! http://baysidecafe.com/ If you're more adventurous, you can rent paddleboards and kayaks here too!

The Montaña de Oro State Park was a short drive south of Morro Bay and had some of the most spectacular coastlines we’d seen in a while. Brilliant for whale watching when in season. We were especially pleased to find two more ADA Accessible hikes, one of which we have shared. Please note it is an incline to get back to the parking lot and you need to be able to push the wheelchair up the hill. We would have preferred a motorized chair at this point.
