Snow Barrel Blast is pretty universally agreed upon to be one of Donkey Kong Country's most treacherous stages, at least on a first-time playthrough. But what made the experience of trekking through Gorilla Glacier such a universally harrowing experience for its players, and why does it stick out so much when harder levels on Donkey Kong Island fade to obscurity?
