This spot on the north shore of the Maui island is known for 80 foot waves. A big wave surfing break is where it got it's name JAWS. In this video, I hike the road where many have lost their rental cars due to terrain and road conditions then down the ocean side cliff to the beach of boulders. I have heard all about this place since I was a kid growing up on Maui and finally got to experience it! It wasn't the time of year for the big waves maybe next time! Be careful walking or driving here.
