BEST Streaming Settings for OBS Studio! - 2024 Guide

Many content creators, especially those just starting, find it really difficult to set up their OBS so their stream looks amazing. Just getting the setting sent to you doesn't work... You need someone to explain it for you, so that is what I do!

When troubleshooting lag in OBS, you’ll encounter missed frames and skipped frames. Missed frames happen when your graphics card struggles to keep up with rendering. A simple fix is lowering your game’s quality or restricting the frame rate to 60 FPS. On the other hand, skipped frames occur when the encoder on your GPU is overloaded. Limiting your game to 60 or even 30 FPS can significantly reduce the load on your system without sacrificing stream quality.
