Start by opening the Instagram app and logging into your account. Tap the paper airplane icon (or Messenger icon, depending on your app version) at the top-right corner to open your Direct Messages. Then select the conversation where you want to view the first message.

Once inside the chat, tap the name or username at the top of the screen to open the chat details menu. In this section, look for the “Search” or “Search in conversation” option.
