Here is a short video giving a brief discription of how shutter speed can be used to control exposure. This is not always the best way to get a good exposure as a fast shutter speed can result in jerky movements in the footage. Another method is to open or close the iris whilst using a fixed shutter speed. Of course the gain control can be used, but for now shutter and f stops are shown. We will leave the gain, which is set to auto, for another video.
