How to Get Permanent Marker Out of Fabric Step by Step

Permanent marker is a necessary thing in many purposes. But if its stain stick into any of your favorite dresses then it becomes a very big problem. Kids are also master of ruining things with permanent markers. However, that doesn’t mean that you’ll never be able to wear that dress again. With some basic ingredients from your kitchen you can easily get rid of the stubborn permanent marker ink.

Use Baking Soda

Baking soda works very effectively in this case. So, just take a small amount of baking soda and sprinkle over the stained area. Then wait a couple of minutes and dust it off. Then spray equal amount of water and white vinegar and rub using a cotton pad. Finally rinse the cloth.

Use Rubbing Alcohol

Soak a sponge in the rubbing alcohol and rub the stained area. Continue the process until the stain goes away.

Use Hair Spray

Take any branded hair spray and directly spray it on the stained area. Wait for 30 seconds and then wipe it off. Repeat the process as much needed.

Use Hand Sanitizer

Cover the stained area with hand sanitizer and wait for 10 minutes. And then wash the piece of cloth.

Lemon juice and toothpaste

Mix lemon juice and toothpaste equally and then soak a cotton ball in the mixture and scrub the stained area with the cotton pad. Scrubbing for some minutes the stain will go away.
