Black Mountains Two Day Walk and Wild Camp, 15/9/2022

A two-day walk and wild camp around the Waun Fach Horseshoe, in the Mynyddoedd Duon (Black Mountains), part of the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) in South Wales. Starting from the village of Llanbedr, I traverse the western ridge of the horsehoe on day one, via Pen Carrig-calch and Pen Allt-mawr, reaching the highest and northernmost point, Waun Fach, then turning down the eastern ridge, summitting Pen y Gadair Fawr and camping in the lee on the southern side of it. On day two I continue down the eastern ridge to Crug Mawr, then drop back down to Llanbedr.
