In today’s episode of my hunt for the world’s best grilled cheese sandwich, we are in SINGAPORE.

I’m here to put two of Singapore's most famous foods to the test in a head to head showdown of flavor and price! First, we will taste a classic Michelin rated dish that costs less than $5 US dollars. Then we will be trying a second equally as iconic dish that costs 10X as much. Once we’ve tried them, I’m going to be transforming each of these foods into grilled cheese sandwiches to see which one will be crowned as Singapore’s official Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

We will be breaking all the cooking rules (but none of the strict laws!) to encapsulate the flavors of two of the country’s most iconic dishes. This was a lot to tackle so I enlisted the help of my Singaporean friend and fellow food content creator, @Lennardy for this episode!
