Finally sourced a replacement Dynastarter, this is the first time the engine has run for more than a few seconds, after a half year of sitting while a minor rebuild took place. . Looks pretty good, everything seems to be working, other than the carb being gummed up, as usual after sitting for months.

Engine was originally pulled due to a bad spark plug thread job that destroyed itself. When I pulled the engine and dropped the cylinder off, I also did a complete rewiring conversion of the original military ignition and engine electricals. It's a 1963 truck, didn't have much maintenance prior to my owning it, and it was also a fairly abused vehicle.

Next up are the CV joint boots, once those are done it should be in functional, but rough, shape.

This engine block was originally from a Puch 500.
