The topic orients you about a collective investment scheme that is traded on the Philippine Stock Exchange, the First Metro Exchange Traded Fund or FM ETF. This is the first and the only Exchange Traded Fund in the country. It is an index tracker ETF which mimics the performance of the Philippine Stock Exchange Index or PSEi. This is classified as a close-ended fund which follows an intra-day pricing. Thus, traders and investors can buy and sell anytime within the day unlike the UITFs and Mutual Funds which follow a daily pricing.
