The Nashville, Tennessee native crafts music that simultaneously evokes comparisons to the soulful narrative journeys of Elton John and the contemporary pop range of Sam Smith. Performing “Jacob from the Bible,” the lead single from his sophomore EP ‘Spiritual,’ which was released earlier this year, Rogers illustrates why the constant comparisons to John and Smith are much-deserved.
