Panama: The Mountain Village of Santa Fe - International Living

http://internationalliving.com/2012/0...
International Living Panama editor Jessica Ramesch visits the mountain village of Santa Fe in the Veraguas province of Panama. The tiny town is rich in mountain charm, from its small, friendly community of locals (and just a few expats) to its lush vegetation and rural mountain feel. The climate is a few degrees cooler than that of Panama City and those few degrees make all the difference--usually in the 70s or 80s F, Santa Fe doesn't feel too hot or humid, despite Panama's prodigious humidity. Like all tropical countries, Panama is warm and the high humidity becomes more noticeable on hot days. In the mountains, the cool breeze almost makes you forget you're in the tropics!
