The release of the Scarlet & Violet Generation of Pokemon Cards introduced us to many new rarities. These rarities included a lot of speculation from the Pokemon Card Community. Coming off the sunset of the Sword and Shield Block which featured amazing Alternate Art Pokemon Cards, a lot of hype built around the potential chase and just how rare these Special Illustration Rares would be.

However, many Pokemon fans seemed somewhat disappointed to see that Special Illustration Rares were much more common than their Alternate Art counterpart. The thrill of the chase seemed to lack throughout Scarlet and Violet until the release of Temporal Forces when Pokemon changed pull rates and made these Secret Rare Pokemon Cards much more difficult to pull.
