We are sharing with you our travel experience so that others can also plan their trips.Trip started from Delhi then Nakoder to seek divine blessings @USR(mela) 2023 in presence of Laadi shah Maharaj ji .Great performances Dera Baba Murad Shah ji, Nakodar is a place which represents great saints known as “Almast Fakeer”. Nakodar is situated near Jalandhar District in Punjab state. He opted Fakeeri at the age of 24 years and become Almast fakeer (Near to God) at the age of 28 years.
Nakoder (Na-Ko-Dar) means “There is no place like this”. Great Saints/Fakeer like “Sher Shah ji” had been there on this place.

The Darbar is a symbol of love and peace where people from all different castes and religions come and pay their respects at this Darbar.

It famous for its full golden dome, it is one of the most sacred pilgrim spots for Sikhs. The Mandir is built on a 67-ft square of marble and is a two storied structure.

The pond surrounding the Golden Temple is called Amrit Sarovar meaning Pool of the Nectar of Immortality. It is considered extremely sacred by the devotees and they believe that taking a bath in the holy waters of the sarovar will purify them of their karma.

All visitors must remove their shoes and wash their feet by walking through pools before entering the temple, as there is a cloakroom in the Golden Temple for shoes. At every entrance to Sri Harmandir Sahib, there is provision for keeping shoes, and luggage of the devotees, free of cost

 Mandir is built on a 67-ft square of marble and is a two storied structure. Maharaja Ranjit Singh had the upper half of the building built with approximately 400 kg of gold leaf.
