We're back with another episode of Endless Answers where we answer your burning stationery questions. This time, let's have a little video of how to insert a cartridge into your LAMY Fountain Pen.

In this video, we used a LAMY Safari Fountain Pen with a LAMY cartridge.
First, you open your pen and you can see that there's a designated circular area where you can insert your ink cartridge. You might notice that your ink cartridge is all sealed up. Don't worry about this, because it won't get in the way of snugging it into your pen.

Second, insert your cartridge firmly. That's the keyword! Firmly. Push it until you hear a POP! sound. Then push it further to ensure it's snug.

There you go! You've inserted your cartridge successfully into your new LAMY pen!

The next thing to do now is to agitate the ink so you can write with it. Simply write until the ink comes out OR dip it in water to prime the feed. The last option is to wait for a few minutes until the ink from the cartridge flows to your feed.
