The Delaware Waterfront has been attracting a lot of tourists and investors lately due to it’s location and recent new development. Let's talk about moving to or investing Philadelphia in terms of neighborhoods. A lot of people assume that they need to move to downtown to Center City when they come out here, but a lot of people fail to realize that there are TONS of amazing traditional neighborhoods in Philly that are still really close to the downtown skycrapers, but they offer a little more of the neighborhood feel and parking that most people want. The home prices in some of these neighborhoods such as Old City, Northern Liberties, Fishtown and Fairmount are MUCH more reasonable in most cases than Rittenhouse and Center City, making it a better option for the majority of people moving here for work. There are several of my favorite neighborhoods that we will talk about in this video that offer different amenities, home types, and home prices. We’ll also talk about the overall feel of the communities to include the history of Old City, the artistic views of Northern Liberties and the hipster vibe in Fishtown Philadelphia. Let’s dive in and talk about why you should or shouldn’t invest or move to Philly, and where you should go if you decide to move to this great city.
