1/5 Lysandre & Yveltal Tanking vs. Hall 30 Sawyer | Pokémon Masters EX (Battle Villa S20)

Spent 6k gems on Lysandre's banner and I luckily got him early. He is ok. I generally judge units by their 1/5 kit so we'll go with that.

At 1/5 Lysandre's DPS is mildly disappointing. Certainly lacking when assisted with Sp.Def debuffs. Moreover he can actually tank comfortably with some defensive support. I'm running a meme Gust grid on Skyla because Lysandre really gets rolling after accumulating some sync buffs and never needs Potion. If you max him out with 6*EX and get Healthy Buffer on his 3/5 grid he can be a beast of a tank. His recovery is absurd. In this battle I had to reset to avoid Chandelure landing Shadow Ball after Lysandre debuffs himself. He is very squishy when left unattended but his massive HP pool mitigates that.

I've yet to decide if I regret pulling him. No major complaints yet.
