Hi,

I'm Miss S: an experienced English teacher and examiner. In this series, I will be explaining 'The Strange Case of Jekyll and Hyde' chapter-by-chapter, as well as providing examiner's advice as I go.
---
I will be referring to English Literature Assessment Objectives, so in case you're unsure what they are, here is a little breakdown:
📖AO1 - Answering the question, knowing the text (plot, characters, settings, themes etc...) and knowing quotes.
✏️AO2 - Identifying methods (techniques), explaining and analysing quotes, exploring layers of meaning and different interpretations, key-word analysis and impact on the audience.
📚AO3 - Making links to relevant context (historical/social) or writer's ideas/purpose. Whole-text context (being able to place a event within the whole novel.)
