Yesterday we talked about Caitlin Clark & Naphessa Collier being named team captains, but since last night the starters and reserves were announced. The thing that really stirred up the internet last night was how players ranked other players, specifically Caitlin.

Caitlin Clark was the #1 in fan rank and got over a million votes to be an all-star, the media ranked her as the 3rd best guard, and the players ranked her 9th… It seems like the players vote is a popularity contest. Am I suprised… no? Am I dissapointed? Yes. Despite having a down year filled with injuries, her numbers are still super impressive this year.

Its very clear that Caitlin Clark will have to tireless continue to dominate to earn respect, or she is simply just never going to get it…
