In this village, what it is best known for is the very distinctive ceramic style called Onta-Yaki, which is rich in the traditional value.

In this video, you can see from how they gather the clay and make them into thin powder using hydro-power and slowly turns into a beautiful orange-like clay that turns dark when firing. This traditional arts have been arounf this village for century and it is continue to grows as older generation of this Japanese village passed down their skills to the younger generations.
