Why Do Multiplayer Games Suck Now?

Why Do multiplayer games suck now? Or did they always suck? Or am I the problem? Well, I think it’s a mixture of all of the reasons. It’s not just that multiplayer games are rammed with microtransactions or that single-player games are superior. Everything has played a part in this feeling for many of us. When I was younger I would game for hours on end, mainly playing online games. Sure I loved my single-player titles like Skyrim, Simpsons Hit and Run, and Assassin’s Creed 2 but I would spend tons of hours playing GTA 4 online, GTA5, Halo 3, Black Ops 2, Minecraft, CSGO, and the two biggest games that I got addicted to was Destiny and GTA role play. I could tell during the last 3 years of activity playing online games that I wasn’t truly enjoying them. So was it that I was getting older? Was it that my friends started to stop playing the same games? Was it that I would become so wrapped up in the games themselves or maybe it’s because the gaming industry has shifted? Today I wanted to go through all of those areas, not just telling you how when I was younger games were better but what my key takeaway has been and how we can enjoy multiplayer games again. So sit down, get a cup of tea, and let’s discuss why Multiplayer games suck now.
