ONE MORNING IN MAY | Stephanie Trick & Paolo Alderighi

"One Morning in May" is a beautiful song from 1933 by Hoagy Carmichael, one of the great American composers of popular song, with lyrics by Mitchell Parish. They also collaborated on the classic, "Stardust." Mitchell Parish often wrote about the moon, the stars, bucolic themes... possibly due to that fact that, as he once said, he didn't get to see the stars since he grew up on the Lower East Side, which may be why writing lyrics about idyllic subjects was so appealing to him. Carmichael stated that "One Morning in May" was his favorite among his own compositions. We hope you enjoy our four-hands arrangement of this lovely song.
