How to set up a Leopard gecko BioActive terrarium

Hello guys and welcome back to my channel! If you’re new here, my name is Josh AKA The Dude and my passion is natural vivarium ecosystems. In this video I will be creating an Exo Terra 36x18x18 BioActive habitat for one of my favorite critters, a leopard gecko. These geckos live in the arid scrublands of Afghanistan, where they retreat to burrows and rock crevices during the harsh heat of the day. These hides are essential for escaping the desert sun and warding off dehydration. Our Terra Sahara substrate is safe for all healthy Leopard Geckos and the substrate allows for them to dig and create their own humid burrows. When you utilize our cork pieces, you can create humid hides for them or watch them create their own places to hide out. Watch your gecko display their natural potential by giving them the environment they deserve! I’m going to go over tips & tricks I’ve learned throughout my keeping experience and I’ll cover proper husbandry and care for these guys.
