Описание к видео Depressions on Tooth Surface | Crown Depressions

This video contains information about depressions on the surface of tooth. different depressions on tooth are - Fossa, Sulcus, Developmental groove, Pits and Fissures.
Fossa - A fossa is an irregular depression or concavity, found in both anterior and posterior teeth. Different types of fossa are - Lingual fossa, Central fossa, Distal fossa and Triangular fossa.
Sulcus–It is a long depression or valley in the surface of a tooth between ridges and cusps.
Developmental groove - It is a sharply defined, narrow and linear depression formed during tooth development separating the lobe.
Central development groove - It is separating the occlusal aspect of Posterior teeth (not present on Anterior teeth).
Buccal developmental groove -These separate buccal cusps on occlusal surface of Molars(only).
Lingual developmental groove -These separate lingual cusps on occlusal surface of Molars.
Supplemental groove - They are small, irregularly placed auxiliary groove and are found usually on occlusal surfaces.
