With J9’s next series of releases, the artist will be releasing each track off of their next album, Colt 45, as a single and then repackaging them as an album. “Colt 45” is the sixth single and title track of Colt 45, of 9 anticipated tracks to be released that will make up the album.

In order to bring this song to life, J9 has again collaborated with friends. On “Colt 45”, J9 teamed up with the badass Sam Astaroth on vocals, along with Matt Groopie (GFU, King Beez) on guitar and glockenspiel, and Sean Beesley (Live Evil Productions, Die Blind) who helped breathe some life into the arrangement. Sam is known for his heavy vocal skills and he definitely brings it with this track about the inner tension that can occur around substance abuse and self-harm.
