I arrived in Bangkok and set off to find Poy in a massive airport. I didn’t know if it was going to easy to find her, she said that she would be waiting for me when I came out of arrivals. She wasn’t there… I drop my backpack to get my phone. Then all of a sudden she comes up behind me and barely gives me a hug and says I am over here helping some tourist who lost his passport. I went over there and this guy was a jerk and was blaming everyone but himself for leaving his passport on some island.

He was so angry and rude, I was just like dude, it could be so much worse, you are alive nobody is hurt, have someone overnight it to you, you’ll be fine. Poy kept trying to help in some way and have it sent to her friend which only made things more difficult. Finally, I said to Poy, we have to go or we are going to miss our train out of here to northern Thailand. I finally pulled her away from this asshole and said you did the best you could, let’s go!

We were really glad to see each other again, so we were both in a good mood. But I knew we were running out of time to get to the train station in time. We got the train station and we're running around figuring out what platform it left from. We got to the platform and it was gone, we missed it by about one minute. I wasn’t happy because it could have been prevented and if you miss the train you don’t get a refund.

So I don’t know who’s idea it was but someone said, you might be able to beat the train to the stop, a few trains stations away. So we got on a couple motorbikes in a rally through the streets of Bangkok try to beat the train to the next station. It was insanely dangerous super sketchy I thought you're gonna die at least a few times. These drivers really tried hard to make it safe and go fast. We got to the next train station and the train had already beat us but we didn't even see it anywhere. So we kept going and these guys were weaving in and out of traffic. At one point it was so dangerous that I thought maybe we should just skip this cause it's not worth it, we are about to die weaving through traffic like this through stop sign stop light crazy stuff and then all the sudden I guess the guy saw the train and we got up there and made it and got on.

After that we're just really excited to be together to of caught the train and to be traveling again together. So we ordered some food play found a way to get me some beers even though you're not supposed to she talked to a guy and the guy jumped off and bought me some beers at the store we had to pay a little extra for him but it was worth it because we are on the train for 1415 hrs. we also bought some street food on the train and employer went around trying to translate for the Thai guy and deal with all of the foreign passengers that spoke English.

We arrived in Chiangmai at like 430 in the morning when checked into the hotel room and immediately went to sleep some more. Woke up a few hours later and was ready to hit the town so we went and rented a motorbike and started cruising around town and I've kind of been more than a mile down the road from where we rented the bike, there was a checkpoint to check everybody's drivers license, really all it was was a trap to get tourist without an international drivers license which I didn't have and the lady that rented us the motorbike didn't tell us that we needed one. But they gave everyone else instructions after they gave him tickets to where to go but they never they never told me where to go and I thought maybe pull a new because she spoke Thai but she didn't and then I found out that other people are getting police escorts to the PlayStation and where they need to go to pay the ticket but also the police officer took my drivers license and I didn't know what he was doing with it so I had to go pay the ticket to get it back and I was really not happy that I didn't have my drivers license or didn't know where it was. Then we saw somebody else getting a police escort that was also getting a ticket so we just followed them. I went in the PlayStation I paid my ticket which was like US$25 no big deal because they had a double Jeopardy rule where once you got a ticket once you could get another one that day so I thought we would have to return the motorbike because I didn't have a drivers license but turns out it's just a way for them to make money.
