“I had the good fortune to grow up in Topanga Canyon and as a kid, would regularly go to the State Park pictured in this video. Because of that, I formed a core connection with nature that to this day informs everything I do, most certainly influencing every song on Les Jardins Mystiques. I feel like the wild, sprawling, mysterious, beauty of Topanga was telling me that Nature is infinite, integrates everything, and that we as human beings are also equally imbued with Nature, and connected to the infinite- especially if we cultivate that awareness and sense of wonder.”
