Maintenance Mode is a built-in privacy feature on select Android devices (mainly Samsung Galaxy phones). It lets you hide all your personal data — photos, messages, apps, accounts, and settings — while still allowing technicians to test and repair your phone. It creates a separate, secure environment that protects your info without needing to reset your device.

When your phone is in for repair, someone else may need to access it for diagnostics. With Maintenance Mode enabled:
✔️ Your personal files, apps, and accounts are completely hidden
✔️ Only system apps and default settings are available
✔️ Everything returns to normal when you turn it off with your credentials

Currently, Maintenance Mode is only available on select Samsung Galaxy phones running One UI 5.0 or later. Some Galaxy A-series models (with newer updates).

❗ Most other Android brands (like Google Pixel, OnePlus, Xiaomi, etc.) do not support this feature — at least not yet.
